1) Best Books:
#GirlBoss by Sophia Amoruso
This book is great for anyone who wants to start a business but isn’t sure how to do it without incurring a ton of debt, or who don’t want to take the traditional route to get there. Along with telling how she got started, each chapter has a “portrait of a girl boss” section that features girls of all sorts of careers who are at the top of their game. You can buy it from amazon by clicking here.
Teen Vogue Handbook
Teen Vogue interviewed the top individuals in every profession related to fashion to find out how they got started, what they look for in interns, and any advice they have. They have everyone from Marc Jacobs, to Natalie Hormilla, to Bruce Weber. It really opened my eyes to all the different ways to get started in the industry. Click here to purchase it.
2) Best Blog:
3) Best IG Account:
Lisa Tellbe @lisatellbe (tellbes.com)
I would include her in the best blog section also, but her posts aren’t in English (her IG account is though). Her account is perfect for inspiration for anyone who is interested in fashion, photography, or modeling.
4) Best Products:
Makeup Train Case
I bought this because I thought it would be perfect for my dorm and traveling so I don’t have to pack and unpack all of my beauty supplies when I go anywhere. This fits all of my makeup perfectly, and you can adjust how big you want each section to be. It’s also currently on sale at amazon here.

5) Best New Line:
Aeropostale recently went through a re-branding process and they now call their brand Aero Now. The clothes are a lot edgier than before and are marketed towards older teens. I think this was a smart move on their part. The Bethany Mota and Pretty Little Liars line have been around for a while, but are also a lot better than their old, preppy clothes that was marketed towards pre-teens.
6) Best Songs:
Weighted: Frank Iero
Click here to listen to it. He announced on his twitter account that the music video could be up as soon as tomorrow!
Do I Wanna Know? by Arctic Monkeys
Listen to it here. 7) Best Snack:
I use Dannon’s Low Fat Yogurt (vanilla; plain yogurt is gross) and add strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and plain granola. You can also buy ones at Publix that are already made but I eat so much of it, it makes more sense to buy a large amount of the ingredients and just make it myself. This is a great, healthy snack.
8) Best Website:
You can use it to make a blog if you don’t have one already, or do I do and use it to follow blogs that aren’t on WordPress. It’s similar to the WordPress reader.
