College Orientation means a lot a walking and making first impressions on your future classmates and staff members. You want to look casual but still put together. I would not recommend dresses or any shoes with a large heel.
Outfit One: Boho Romper
Romper, Vest,Purse, Sandals
Rompers are a great alternative to dresses and skirts if you want to look a little more casual and you don’t have to worry about a skirt flying up on a windy day and it works if you have to sit on the ground anywhere. The sandals have a tiny wedge which I find more comfortable than completely flat sandals. A small crossbody bag keeps you from lugging around a giant bag all day.
Outfit Two: Feminine Shorts
Tank, Shorts, Necklace, Clutch, Sandals
This look is very girly and polished. Flat sandals are great for walking around all day and the shorts are casual yet classy looking and would stand out in a sea of denim shorts. The shirt would look nice tucked in without being skin tight.

Bikini 1: Red Hot from VS
This swimsuit is so glamorous! I love the red color, and I own the bottoms in a different and I highly recommend them. It’s surprisingly hard to find a true red bikini online; sadly this is the only bikini is this color from VS. The sarong is classy and will cover you up walking on the beach or laying by the pool.
Last week I went to the beach with all of my friends and all of the girls decided to have a LBD night. I picked some similar items below from left to right in this picture. I blacked out my friend’s faces because I’m not sure if all of them (or their parents) would want their faces on the internet where anyone can see. I hope you like the dresses!
Dress 1: Quarter Sleeve Fit and Flare
This dress from Delias is simple and perfect for everyday. You can wear it with flats and simple jewelry during the day or wedges/ heels at night.
Lauren is definitely one of my style icons. She always looks so put together even if she is just running errands or going somewhere casual. This outfit is a perfect example of how to dress down a skirt.
I found the skater skirt at Charlotte Russe. Skater skirts are easier to dress down than tight bodycon skirts. The tank top and sandals are from Wet Seal but similar items can be bought almost anywhere. The handbag is from T.J. Mass I love the lace up sides. The sunglasses are from Target. Oversized sunglasses are not for everyone but Lauren pulled them off really well.

This light pink tank top is from Dillards and is perfect for day or night. I love the chain detailing and the little pocket.
Day: Pink+ Leather
Normally I tend to wear leather and edgier outfits at night but leather shorts are perfect for the day too. The shorts are from Forever 21 and have little gold studs on the sides that match the gold chain on the tank top. Sandals (Overstock.com) and a large bag (JCP) keep I casual and a dainty gold bracelet (Dillards) keeps it from looking too edgy for the day.

Outfit 3: Trade regular jeans for colored ones. Even with just a plain white tee they are cute.
I love the color of these jeggings! They are perfect for spring. I even ordered them for myself from Aeropostale. The lace sweater is also from Aeropostale and is perfect if it is still a little chilly out. If it is warmer where you can live you can trade the sweater for a tank top. The oxfords make the outfit even more feminine and are from Amazon.
The shirt was made by Derek Heart (I’m can’t remember what store I bought it from). I bought the Lucky Brand flats on sale from Dillards. I highly recommend them; I have them in two colors and they are the most comfortable flats I own. The tank top is from Aeropostale. I’m not sure where I bought the necklace and leggings but I made a collage of similar items that you can buy below!
I really like this outfit for casual days. The shirt is tunic length so it is perfect for tying up in the front without it being too short in the back.
Here are some similar items you can buy: The shirt is from Hollister, the necklace and bangles are from Kohls. You can purchase the shoes from Dillards. They are Lucky Brand but they don’t have the little studs like mine have. The leggings are from Amazon and the tank top is from Aeropostale.
