Hey guys! Don’t forget to enter my giveaway!
Here are some of my top essentials if you want to spice up your style a bit. Leave your requests for future articles in the comments below!
1) Colored Boots
Plum boots such as these are subtle but still standout in a sea of black and brown boots without being too flashy or overwhelming. I think any kind of dark purple booties or red western style boots work best.
2) Interesting Outer-Wear
The sleeves on this jacket are anything but basic and it takes jeans and a tank top to a whole new level.
Sorry for the lack of posts recently! I was on Spring Break and didn’t have time to work on the blog much.
Today’s oufit is very summery and perfect for dinner while on vacation at the beach.
The skirt is from Wet Seal. I love the color and flirty fit. The tank top is from Aeropostale and I got the jacket from Forever 21. The belt and heels match perfectly and pull the whole look together. I bought the belt at Dillards and the heels for half off at Rack Room Shoes.
The skirt is the same one I have from Wet Seal. The shoes are also exactly what I am wearing, but you cannot buy them online. If you enter in your zip code they will locate a store near you that has them in stock. The tank top is from Aeropostale. The denim jacket is from Kohls and the belt is from Charlotte Russe. You can find links to the products featured on my pinterest board labeled Items for Blog.

Outfit #1 : Want to wear leggings but still look fashionable? Trade regular black leggings for liquid/ leather ones. They are just as comfortable but are way cuter.
The leggings are from Charlotte Russe. The matte finish makes them more appropriate for the day time. The dolman top is from wet seal. I like the loose fit of the shirt and the metallic sheen keeps it from being boring. As always with leggings, make sure your top hits mid thigh to keep it appropriate. The cute owl necklace and ankle boots are from Kohls, and the black handbag is from JCPenney.
This bodycon dress is so versatile! For the day look I added a white denim jacket and gold mini wedges from Dillards and, a brown belt from Kohls, a pretty clock necklace from Aeropostale, and a gold clutch from TJ Maxx (They have an online store now!) The wedges and clutch keep the look from being too plain and the rest of the accessories tone down the tight fit so it is appropriate for the day time.
I’m normally not a huge fan of mixing black and blue but I love it for edgy night outfits. The blazer (from Dillards) makes the dress look classier but the studs on it keep it from looking too business like. You can’t really tell from this picture but the heels (Forever 21) have cool gold detailing on the front. The clutch(TJ Maxx) keeps the look dressy and keeps you from having to lug a giant bag around.
