I absolutely love this look by Jay Ahr. It’s very simple, but stills looks edgy and glamorous. And the best part is it’s easy to recreate for a lot cheaper than his clothes would be!
I’m starting a new section so y’all can see what caught my eye each month. This is great if you are petite like me because all of the items on the list are things I would actually buy (here’s to knowing my parents read my blog posts and hoping they buy some of these 😉 )so they are available in my size (XXS, XS, 00,or 0).
1) Burgundy Flats
If you have been following my blog for awhile you’ve probably noticed my obsession with burgundy clothes. I have so many tops that would match this, and flats are ideal for walking around campus.
Most sororities have their new members wear white on bid day so they all match for pictures.
Try to avoid anything too revealing or any off-white shade that might not match well in the pictures.
I decided to link the items differently this time. I figured showing the price would be helpful. Let me know what you prefer!
Here are my top picks for dresses for round four (the preference round) of sorority rush week. Most colleges tell you to dress like you are a guest of a wedding (click here to see my outfit ideas for a wedding) or to wear a little black dress. I would just wear simple, comfortable heels with any of these dresses.

For round three of sorority rush week, most colleges will tell you to dress a little nicer than round one (sundresses) but don’t wear heels like you would for round four. As always make sure your dress is long enough and not too tight, and avoid cutouts and strapless dresses.
I would try to avoid thong sandals as these could be painful after walking so much and might look too casual.
If you liked this article you might like a fun and funky dorm idea.

At 5’2 I know how hard it can be to find clothes as a petite teen. I compiled a list of stores that have a good selection of clothes in tiny sizes but these stores are great if you aren’t petite also. Let me know if there are any stores I left off and leave requests for future articles!
