Here are a few items I’ve been wanting lately. Let me know if you want me to come up with some outfit ideas for any of them.
What’s on your wishlist this month?
So after a lot of trouble my blog is finally working again after switching to WordPress.org. At one point my whole blog disappeared and I thought I lost everything! Not that it’s working I like it so far, but I’ll let you guys know what I think about it in a few days after I’ve had the chance to play around with it.
Since I link so many products on here I know most of the products at my favorite stores at any given time and I’ve come to notice quite a few pieces offered at various stores for different prices. Some of these are the same exact product and others are very similar. Keep reading to find the best deals!
Daisy Dress: Save $23.39
I’ve noticed Mod Cloth and Dillard’s carry a lot of the same items and 99% of the time Dillard’s is cheaper! I always do a quick check on Dillard’s before I buy anything from Mod Cloth to make sure I’m getting the best deal!
2) Bright Romper: Save $15.99
Spring break will be here before you know it so I came up with a list of carry-on essentials to make your flight more enjoyable. Let me know if there’s anything not on this list you would include!
1) Travel Tote: Obviously the most important item on this list is a nice sized bag you can fit everything in. I loved the bright color of the one I picked out, and it easily attaches to a suitcase for convenient transportation.
2) Makeup Bag: If you’re carrying any makeup (I would carry a little even if you don’t plan to wear any on the flight in case your other luggage gets lost or delayed) a cosmetics case is essential to keep it from spilling. In the makeup case I would carry oil blotters, lipbalm, concealer, and facial towelettes if it’s overnight for actually using while you’re on the plane. I would also include foundation, eyeliner, mascara, and one lipstick for a backup as I stated earlier. Continue Reading
Let me know if you like this format or the old one better! Also, I’d love to hear suggestions for future articles!1) Yes Please: I’ve heard so many great things about this book, and I’m always looking for new books to read.
2) Pleather Skater Skirt: I’m petite and have the hardest time finding skirts in 00 (AEO does run kind of big though so it still might not fit). I’ve been looking for a good pleather skirt for forever!
In honor of Naya Rivera’s birthday yesterday and the final season of Glee here is how you can recreate Rachel, Quinn, and Santana’s look!
Rachel was very nerdy looking in the beginning of the show but now she knows how to look preppy without over doing it. Mod Cloth is the best store to find pieces similar to what she wears in the show.
If you look on the Fashion of Glee Blog, they find the exact items each character wears in every episode. The only downside is that most of the items are designer and therefore very expensive.
Rachel has worn hounds tooth printed pieces many times on the show including the pilot, and almost always is wearing knee highs and flats.
Almost all of Quinn’s clothes are from Anthropologie, but again Mod Cloth is a much more affordable alternative. Quinn is definitely a girly-girl; she is almost always wearing a skirt or dress, and it’s usually in a quirky print or muted colors with a bright jacket over it.
Maybe I’m biased, but I love this outfit so much! 😉 The top is actually a heart print, but from a distance it looks like polka dots which Quinn wears pretty often. I don’t normally like socks and heels but I added some with a tiny lace ruffle because I saw her wearing similar ones in multiple outfits and loved it. I would stick to a small ruffle though so it doesn’t look like kid’s socks.
Do you watch Glee? If so, which character do you think has the best style?
Keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway coming soon!
In honor of Taylor Swift turning 25 today here’s how you can recreate her signature stye. Also only a couple of more days until the giveaway is over! Let me know if y’all want more of these types of posts and who you would like me to feature next.
To get her look mix plaid and equally bright preppy pieces. I included oxford heels since she can have a very classic/ retro style and likes vintage pieces.

I think the mini curling wand (a mini flat iron would be great too!) is probably my favorite item on this set because it’s not something a lot of people own and hair products tend to take up a lot of room when packing. It would probably work a lot better for girls with short-medium hair but a mini flat iron would probably work fine for all girls.
I also would love the travel jewelry case since jewelry tends to get tangled so easily and it would also work for my dorm where I don’t have a ton of room for a jewelry holder.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
For ugly Christmas sweater parties don’t be afraid to go all out and look tacky. The Buddy the Elf hat is actually a name place holder I found on Pinterest but it would be easy to DIY a hat

Class Act is a new section I’m doing where I’ll take pictures of fashionable people around campus and show you how you can recreate their looks. Also, you can email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) your OOTDs for a chance to be featured! Please include where you bought the items if you remember.
I took pictures of just her outfit, but the lighting was bad so I included a picture of our group at the bottom!
For makeup she stuck with bright red lipstick, winged eyeliner, and false lashes as she wanted to do a pin-up version of Dorothy. I curled her hair for her using the Revlon curling wand. Click here to purchase it. Continue Reading
Today I have a mini (only one picture) OOTD post. Both of the dresses are from Mod Cloth. While Mod Cloth is a bit pricey their clothes are definitely high quality, and in my opinion, worth the money.
My identical twin sister and I attend the University of Georgia. Game days are always really fun, just make sure your outfit is comfortable because you will most likely be standing the whole time.
Let me know what you think of this post and if you like me featuring other people besides just me.
