With only a week of school left exams are in full swing for me. I came up with a couple of comfortable but still put together outfits and a few items that will help you survive exam week.
When are you finals and what are your essentials? Leave a comment below!
Outfit 1: Army Jacket, T-Shirt Dress, Black Lace Keds, Necklace
Outfit 2: Crop Top , Joggers, Black Sandals, Bracelet
Other Items:Batiste Dry Shampoo , BB Cream, Metallic Hair Ties, Concealer, Mascara, Lip Balms, Notebook, Backpack, Coffee Mug
I specifically choose BB cream and lip balm because it’s so easy to apply and won’t take much time or effort. Concealer and bright eye shadow will hide the fact that you pulled an all-nighter and dry shampoo is perfect for when you don’t have time to wash your hair.
Coffee is a must and I love Gossip Girl so I thought the coffee mug would be perfect ,although I wouldn’t take the advice since Blair would probably blackmail her professors to make an A 😉
The outfits are both very simple but cute and comfortable since I chose flat shoes.
I’ll leave you with this gem:http://www.buzzfeed.com/keelyflaherty/we-are-all-squidward?utm_term=.edGzeV2Kq#.le7LKrbPM
Today I picked out some cute and affordable spring must haves! Too bad I’m still a broke college student. 😉 Let me know if you buy any of these (If you take any pictures or use these in a blog post email it to me at email@example.com or tweet it to me: @styledbysteph96)
Striped Flats, Beaded Sandals, Ankle Boots, Red Ankle Strap Flats, Black Lace-up Sandals, White Wedges
The black beaded sandals are to die for! <3
Tribal Shorts, Black Lace Shorts, Pink Crochet Shorts, Black High Waisted, Pac Sun Tribal Shorts
Soft shorts are fun and tend to be a lot cheaper than denim or twill shorts!
Earrings, Tribal Print Clutch, Pink Purse, Bracelet, Temporary Tattoos
Which item is your favorite?

What is a boyish figure?
A girl with a boyish figure typically has narrow hips, a small bust, and potentially broad shoulders. Keira Knightly is a perfect example so I used her for the what to wear and what to avoid photos so you can compare.
What to Wear:
- Dresses and skirts that are fit and flare or have a ruffle or other feminine embellishments
- Outfits that are belted or draw attention to the waist to give an hourglass shape
White Top, Leather Skirt, Combat Boots, Tights, Leather Jacket, Jeggings, Draped Top, Over the Knee Boots
The white top and skater skirt combo will give your curvier hips and the draped top is flattering on flat-chested girls.
Sweet- Heart Dress, Purple Clutch, Black Pointy Heels, Black Clutch, Black Cutout Heels, Illusion Lace Dress
Fit and Flare dresses are always flattering on boyish figures but this one has a sweet-heart neckline which looks better than a boat of off the shoulder neckline. Illusion dresses can do wonders for your body, this particular one draws attention to the waist and bust.
What to Avoid:
- Menswear inspired clothes
- Strapless clothes (they can make you shoulder look wider and can be annoying to wear if you don’t have much to keep the top up)
- Boxy Clothes
Leave requests for future articles and let me know what you think of this one!
In honor of the Hunger Games movie: Mocking Jay Part 1 coming out recently I have put together a couple of Katniss inspired looks.
Outfit 1: Hunting in woods
Hair Ties, Nail Polish, Graphic Tee, Boots, Necklace, Jacket, Jeans
This look is very casual and perfect for a non-girly girl who still wants to look put together. I added a graphic tee instead of a plain one to spice up the look a little. Continue Reading
