Today I recreated some of the looks I liked from Sonia Rykiel’s Spring 2015 Ready to Wear Collection using more affordable items. What’s your favorite spring collection? I’d love to hear suggestions for other collections to recreate!
I love that unlike a lot of designers her looks are actually wearable yet are still high fashion.
Gladiator Sandals, Studded Clutch, Striped Dress, White Blazer
This dress from ASOS has the same drop waist fit and stripes but I think the blue and white are more appropriate for spring.
Once again this is easy to recreate. I love the sandals from her line too!
Tank Top, Jacket ,Floral Skirt with Belt, Wedges, Clutch
This look is a little more feminine but still has the rich jewel tone colors and similar fits to the look above.
Be sure to join me on Pinterest and let me know what you think of these outfits!
So I made Pinterest boards for the 3 upcoming spring trends I mentioned in my last blog post and I want y’all to help me! If you are interested in joining any of the boards email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) or leave a comment below and make sure you are following me on Pinterest to be eligible. You can find my Pinterest here. I think it will be a great way to get to know some of you.
I can’t wait to see what y’all pin! <3
I picked different styles for each look: sporty, cozy, country, and school girl, centering the outfit around the white pieces.

Midi Rings: $8.00, Charming Charlies
I’ve found that buying midi rings in normal sizes and wearing it like a normal ring is much easier than trying to find a ring in small size. Also, cocktail rings will look huge on anyone so stick to small, simple designs.
Earrings: $15.00, Dillards
Pull Cord Bracelet: $10.00, Charming Charlies
Pull cord bracelets are easy to adjust to fit tiny wrists so they won’t move around too much. Most bangles on the other hand are generally bigger and you can’t adjust them. Also, try to stay away from big designs as they generally do not look proportional on small wrists.
Let me know what you guys think of this article and let me know if y’all would like me to start making YouTube videos!
